.25 MG XANAX NO DOING MUCH.

HI ALL,

JUST A QUESTION ABOUT XANAX. I AM A BIG GUY AND HAVE BEEN TAKING HALF A .25MG XANAX. I FEEL IT WORKED AT FIRST, BUT NOW IT HAS WORN OFF. IS THIS NORMAL AND IF MY ASK MY DOCTOR FOR A HIGHER DOSE IS SHE GOING TO LOOK AT ME LIKE I HAVE AN ADDICTION.

You need to keep a close relationship with your therapist especially if you take medications. I'm guessing you take the xanax for sleep or anxiety. Sometimes the body can get adjusted to a dose and require a higher dose. Only your doctor can evaluate that. At your current dose you do have room to go up. If your doctor is a compassionate therapist and not your GP then they should not think you are med seeking. Sometimes antidepressants can assist with anxiety as well. Contact your doctor. I would even suggest you let her know about your concerns regarding your feelings about needing an increased dose.

Yes it is normal if u took the dose ever day or more than once a day I started out on 0.5 and I haven't had to had to go up but I only took half of a half and I am 5"3 125 lbs
