Modafinil

I’ve been on 100 mgs. for a little over 2-1/2 months and have begun to notice I’m not feeling as good as I felt when I first started it. For the past few days I’ve increased my dosage to 200 mgs. taking one pill first thing in the morning and the second pill around Noon. The doctor said he’d increase my Rx but was wondering what I thought of taking 150 mgs. for awhile

and leaving the larger dose for later on. Can anyone tell me their experience with Modafinil and what dosage you’re now on and for how long. Thanks!

I take the 200 mg dose (Not extended release) for the last 15 years. I used to take it first thing but it wore off by 4:00 PM.

I now take it at 2:00 PM and it gets me to 10:00 PM.

It also is a great drug to take a brief holiday from to get the feeling back. Every few weeks, I take a couple of days off. It doesn't seem to slow me down much and the good feeling comes back when i start it again.

It does not replace a little bit of exercise. You need to build a little bit of exercise into you daily routine.

Tolerance can be reduced by following some guidelines.

The info in the link was exactly how I was feeling. Thanks so much! I’m going to do that and not take it every day. I’ve recently resigned myself to a wheelchair too so no exercise there! I’m going to get the rollator back out and walking more. Sure appreciate your help.

I am in a manual wheelchair and going rolling outside as much as I can. It is exercise. My arms have never been better.

But even rolling in the house is better than nothing. Sit in the chair and lift things. You can exercise legs wile sitting.

Tiny things can produce big results.
