I have been posting here for about a month. I read a lot of the website before I began. It inspired me to address serious issues I feel have been left out or glossed over. I don;t know if they are too controversial, or personal or just plain yucky, but its not going to stop me addressing them. I am very pro-medical cannabis and pro-wheelchair, two things that don't appear to be super popular solutions and even have stigma attached.
In my posts themselves, not once have I told any particular user what to do, but merely shared how I get by and suggested the same for anyone else struggling in my position. From speaking privately with other sufferers I believe I represent the severer side of AMN and I have gone to extremes to be able to live a normal life despite being really very ill. As this illness is progressive everyone should consider that this becomes a reality.
It all comes down to how independent you want/need to be. (Almost) 100% Independence and being able to look after myself with no help is crucial to me. This would be impossible without my wheelchair and the other things I have suggested.
I think some people struggle with my semantics, but I am forceful, no denying that. However, if you don;t need/want to be fully independent, just disregard my advice. AMN is very serious and I am not pussyfooting around anything.
