Hi all me again awaiting ablation in the new year. I am on a small flexible dose of bisopropol 1.10 to 1.25 mg also have 50 mg. Flecainide as pip .have now put on testosterone replacement therapy. This alone has taken me 2 plus year to get .the interesting bit is my afib started about a year into me having a testosterone level of about 4 which is very low could there be a link as I have found some research that's how's low testosterone can cause arthymia. I am really starting too suffer with tiredness due to my reactions to bbs which are my only option as have bad reactions to most arthymia medication. Work absolutely knocks me down does anyone else suffer at work.

I suffered extreme fatigue with BBs so yes.

I would just like to say though that low Testosterone also causes extreme fatigue, as do many other conditions and it is becoming a big problem in the workplace for many people and companies.

If you work for a large organisation who have Occupational Health department or consultants they may be able to help you find a work balance you can cope with.

Have you been tested for Thyroid levels - that also affects AF with symptoms of extreme fatigue. I don’t think anyone truly understands what this feels like unless they experience it and so many companies can be very unsympathetic, believing a bit of tiredness cannot stop you working! Mmmmm………

Fatigue is a message from your body saying slow down,

When you have several conditions keeping the plates spinning is exhausting.

You might ask yourself whether you need a permanent rate control drug at all and consider stopping the betablocker altogether if it’s not needed for rate control. I stopped Biso myself once I knew my heart was in good shape but replaced it with an ACE-inhibitor to keep my blood pressure down.

Not what you're looking for?
