Wow thanks for the info afib is a worry getting used to the different ways it effects the individual

It’s never worried me but i saw a different consultant last time and he wants to change my meds. I do get breathless just going upstairs and he’s hoping to improve that i think.

my sleeping HR varies between 46/56 but sometimes it drops to that during the day. I can always tell when it’s happening

I take 1.25mg Bisoprolol for Ectopics. Your heightened awareness is in part not helping the Ectopics but not necessarily the cause. Like me, you will start to ignore them and they will reduce in number with you being oblivious to the ones you get. This can change if you start to get them in large numbers again as the heightened awareness comes back and makes them worse. Good news is that I can go a few years without issue and could probably come off of the Bisoprolol but at least this is only a very small dose. Good luck

My resting BP is 40/45 , it did go down to 38 when I was on bisoprolol, consultant decided to take me off it. Mention it to your GP but mine are happy with my resting bp, during the day it's around 50. Hope this helps

I don’t take beta blockers because my rhr is sinus bradycardia however since my ablation it is faster. I do take blockers as needed as have had some tachycardia recently due to altitude and late dinners but not regularly…

Interesting have a meeting with cardio in July to discuss ablation as no meds seem to be tolerated by me I am adjusting my meds after speaking to doctor I am noo on a split 2 5 mg of bisoprolol which only take half a day as its a slightly smaller dose than 1.25 about 10 percent lower then 120 microgammes of digoxin its only done after pestering docs so far 3 days no ectopic heart beats don't copy this as its me trying this with doctors acknowledgement

Thats good, I hope the ectopics continue to disappear! Lol, I don’t want to take any beta blockers and EP doesn’t think i need to so I definitely won’t take half a one except when I am at altitude and I will take something..
