Magnesium Taurate

I have, for many years, purchased Cardiovascular Research Magnesium Taurate, 125mg, 180 Capsules from Amazon. Seemingly they don’t do them anymore. Does anyone suggest a replacement for AF or an alternative supplier they have used please?

1 x 80mg magnesium and 1 x 500g Taurine once daily. I always plan to take another magnesium with my evening meal, but forget.

I also a few eat mixed nuts every day which are a great source of vitamins and minerals.

I use to buy that same brand from Amazon until prices skyrocketed. I now buy from Love Life supplements their Magnesium Bisglycinate at £29.95 for a 60 day supply but as I only take 3 a day they last me 80 days. Like Jean I buy the Solgar Taurine 500mg which I get from Amazon for £5.65 for a 60 day supply.

Yes I take 2 magnesium a.m and 1 magnesium and 1 Taurine p.m. I do take q10 but not regularly. When I do I take that a.m. too.

Do you need to have a blood test before taking these supplements to see if you have the right levels in the system? Otherwise what purpose do they have?

Frances123 in reply toHannalore

No I didn’t have a blood test before. I had watched a video of Dr Sanjay Gupta’s on magnesium which greatly interested me. I did ask my GP if it was ok. He said it was entirely up to me and if I wanted to try them and it was ok with him. This was about 6-7 years ago and it has helped. The Q10 I took just to help with a bit of extra oomph on my own accord.

iHerb sell them - 180s currently out of stock but 60s available for £10.90 - don't know how that compares with what Amazon charged you?

My last order was with iHerb. I’ve had no issues ordering through them

That brand of magnesium is the only one I use. They do seem to be scarce sometimes especially in the 180 tub

I’ve just looked on their website and the 180’s are showing as available to me 🤷‍♂️

I think when they haven’t been available I can set an alert for when they are back in stock

nutriadvanced.co.uk/megamag... check out the ingredients list, I have used reduced dose for 10 yrs advised by Naturopath to partner with CoQ10.

I've just ordered the Cardiovascular Research magnesium taurate 180 tabs from iHerb as have others I see for £30. They are by far the best company to buy these sorts of things from even though based in the US. Would recommend.
