I'm contemplating getting the Pfizer vaccine for Covid. Has anyone had any reactions? A friend told me it made them hyper. I have been free of a-fib for a couple of years & I'm afraid it might throw me into an a-fib episode. Does anyone have any input about this?
Anyone have reactions to Pfizer vacci... - Atrial Fibrillati...
Anyone have reactions to Pfizer vaccine for Covid?
Have had Pfizer....no reaction at all. Wouldn't mind being a bit hyper though.....
😀
There have been a lot of threads about this so maybe worth putting into the search engine?
I had no problems re AF. I had opposite - fatigue for several days after the 2nd jab, sore arm and feeling aches.
The biggest disappointment was that I failed to produce antibodies after 2 jabs.
Pfizer seems not to cause any problems other than a sore arm for a couiple of days and maybe some fatigue. AZ is more reactive anecdotally.
Absolutely no reaction to both my pfizer jabs. I didn't even have a sore arm with the first jab and didn't think she had actually given me the jab as I felt absolutely nothing when the nurse vaccinated me! Second one I was sore at the vaccination point for a few days but only when the arm was touched - no aches and pains fatigue or anything. Like Jalia I could do with being hyper sometimes as this last lockdown has seen me getting a little lethargic - weather not as good as it was this time last year so I think that is why. Need to get more active.
My wife had the AZ and had shivers and shakes and cold the night after the vaccination, headachy and tired the day after but from then on OK. Second AZ and no problems at all. My sister had Covid back in February and when she finally had her first AZ jab said it was worse than the covid! She had her second jab just over a week ago and no problems. From what I have gleaned the older you are the less likely you seem to be to get a bad reaction - unless like my sister and a couple of friends you have had Covid. AZ seems to be more likely to give a bad reaction. My niece had the AZ and is 41 and a teacher and she said the first jab hit her like a ton of bricks and she was quite poorly for a few days. Having said that we are all different and will have a different experience.
Take care and hope all goes well with your jab.
Had both Pfizer jabs and no problem at all - slightly sore arm for both plus a slightly sore throat after the second which may have been unrelated!
Like others I had no reaction to the first dose, and only a brief sore arm after the second.
