I’m going through a particularly rough patch at the moment with lots of anxiety. I big thanks to all who have responded to my posts .

Thanks
I think we are all suffering this at the moment Kalgs. Sign of the times I guess.
However things seem to be slowly improving so try and stay positive. Try the correct breathing exercises too when your anxiety kicks in - it can really help.
I wish you all best.

Such a nice post kalgs and thank you - this forum helps so much with the fears and anxieties which we all have from time to time. Hang in there and keep posting - things will get better. Best wishes.
Sorry to hear you are struggling just now. Dig in eventually things will improve, always remember nothing goes on forever, you will come out the other side of this rough time. Best wishes.
We're always here for you kalgs and understand exactly what you're going through with your heart misbehaving. I knew little about heart problems and what could help, until I joined this forum about 8 years ago. It's always reassuring to know that others understand and have experienced the ups and downs of AF.

Sorry to hear that Kalgs. This, too, shall pass x
Keep going we are all in this together.
So kind
I feel for you Kalgs. Over the last six months I've had a partial knee replacement fail (it was 17 years old), a total replacement with posts put in, a blood clot on the lung, a bleed into the new knee resulting in a large haematoma. Then out of the blue diagnosed with AF and flutter, together with other odds and ends going on in the heart. Anxiety and depression were my friends until the other day - and even now they creep up and grab me. Do hang in there, find some silly films to watch, read some uplifting books, phone someone you can reall chat to, try meditation. I know it seems easier said than done but these are some of the things I've been trying. We're all here for you and each other. It's good you reached out for support. That's the first step to recovery. Big hugs
👍
I think anxiety makes it so much worse. In those previous times when I forced myself to be calm, I got a new sense of how to react to it, i.e. more of anger than of fear and went about doing my regular chores just to show it that it wasn't in charge!
