Hello, I would like to say a big thank you to everyone who replied to my agitated post regarding informing the DVLA. I had my letter from them on Saturday, and I am ok to carry on. Thanks again for your info and support.

That’s great news! I’m so glad for you - that must be a huge relief. Thanks for letting us know :) x

How pleasing for you!

I had to go through hoops last year for DVLA the main one being Glaucoma which I had a eye test for, but that was okay and they accepted that my AS and HF was controlled so no restrictions. My insurance is up in a few days time and I have never reported any of this to them - some people said you had to and some said not, so I did it today. They did not want to know, did not make notes of it, just said as long as DVLA are fine with it so are they.

Hi Cassie, the insurance company, replied in a few days that there was no change to the policy and no extra charge. It's such a relief when those letters come through the door.
