So glad you are not only holding your own but also improving if only a bit at a time. I think this may be a long run but sure you will get over it soon. Chin up.

Hi Jill.

It sounds like you are getting there - slowly but surely. Your appetite and cough are improving - that's good news.

Might take a while longer but you'll nail it. Better days coming your way soon ;-)

Best,

Paul

Hope you continue to improve and get better soon. The last time I had a terrible cough and worsened asthma with it I found raw garlic helped a lot. Garlic has antibacterial and anti viral properties as well. Chewing it is not very pleasant if you don't like garlic but it is best as that releases the allicins in it. You can always help the taste with the honey and lemon drink afterwards.

Ginger, lemon and honey is much nicer.

If your cough is productive then NAC - n acetyl cysteine is very good too. This was recommended by the chemist here in France and they sell it in sachets that you mix with water into a drink. It makes the secretions more fluid and easier to cough up. I don't know if they sell it in chemists in UK but you can buy it in capsule/ tablet form on Amazon or ebay. It also strengthens the immune system .

Thank you , I haven’t heard of that one but it sounds good . At the moment my cough seems to be getting a bit better so I’ll see how it goes
