Sadly I just tried to register and both my phone and iPad refuse to let me give my email address to start the process. No idea what is wrong but I quickly lose patience if technology puts up a fight. May try again or phone my surgery for help but I think they have enough on their hands without this query from me.
What type of operating system are you using? If it’s an android app it won’t work on your ipad or did you download from the Apple App Store and still didn’t work?
Many thanks for replying. I downloaded it from the Apple App Store and that is what is not working. Every time I try to enter my email address, the keyboard will not come up, so I cannot type or continue at all.
Well, I have had half success today by trying to log in on my old iPad, which to all intents and purposes is exactly the same as the new one. I managed to get into the site, fulfil all the requirements and they have emailed to say I am now accepted. Now I have to work out why the trusty 'old friend ' is more useful than the newer one. It is a nuisance, as there are all kinds of things wrong with the old one. It is a creaking gate. Sounds a bit like our NHS!
Apple have recently done a lot of updates, far more than usual. I have found that since updating, some of my older apps won’t work. Our surgery has an browser based on-line system so not got around to asking if their system can be plugged into the NHS app. It’s SO easy to be able to track your results, get meds etc and before lockdown, book an appointment to see a doctor!
It’s not an issue for me as I really hadn’t used them in years. I have a collection of iPads going back 10 years and all but 1 (which I dropped onto a concrete floor) still work with amazing, if very slow, efficiecy.
