Cbd oil
I was thinking of it but changed my mind because I am on Warfarin, it can increase the risk of a bleed. Have no idea the position with the NOAC's. Interestingly in my local large town in the far South West of UK I see a CBD Oil shop has opened. Reminded me of a Vape Shop.
I would consult my GP or Pharmacist.

Thks il chk with my GP to be sure
I will let you know.... LOL
Hi there
I took CBD oil, two drops under the tongue, every day for about 6 weeks when I had acute low back pain. I can’t take anti-inflammatory drugs and opioid drugs make me incredibly constipated. Simple paracetamol just didn’t touch the pain.
I was so pleased about the pain relief I got with the CBD oil and certainly didn’t notice any side effects or drug interaction with my Apixibam 5.0 mg bd. And I certainly didn’t get high!!
There are shops springing up in most major cities where it is perfectly legal to buy CBD oil.
Let me know how you get on.
Your all so lucky to be able to buy CBD oil I would love to try it for the pain of my broken arm like you I'm not allowed anti inflammatory and hate tramadol and codeine.
Its illegal here in New Zealand though next year we get to vote for it hurrah
I know where my votes going
Well maybe the vote will go in favour of allowing it. I gather it is the same situation in Australia where a dear friend of mine has dreadful pain from trigeminal neuralgia, otherwise known as the suicide pain. The only time she can get it is when she comes to Europe.
I tried CBD oil on one occaision and went into AF through the night after no episodes for a year, I contacted the company I purchased it from and while they cant offer me advise they said that it opens the blood vessels and they wouldn't recommend I take it with AF. I suffer from osteoarthritis and thought I'd found a pain cure but alas, still taking tramadol.
Hi,
I have had two spinal operations, cervical and lumbar. I now have horrible nerve and muscle pain in my thoracic spine due to compensation/postural issues. I have been prescribed Amitriptyline a few times for the nerve pain but didn't really get on with it (if I am honest I probably didn't give it a long enough trial because of side effects). About three months ago I tried CBD oil and this seemed to work to great effect. Pain subsided massively, no side effects. I have just been diagnosed with AFib and from what I have read CBD oil should not be taken with blood thinners so I stopped. Result: horrible pain has returned.
The Holland and Barrett site recommend that CBD is not taken with blood thinners. My marvellous pharmacist recently said that there is not enough evidence to recommend or prescribe CBD oil because they just don't know. However, she said she sees many people who do take both because of the pain killer benefits. So I suppose you pays your money and you takes your chance ... or not.
Many people on this forum seem to get great benefit from Magnesium supplements so I am going to give that a go for now and then reconsider CBD oil if no benefit for me.
