Nasal spray to treat SVT

Just wanted to share this with everyone.....I’ve recently been diagnosed with SVT and couldn’t believe there wasn’t anything besides an ER visit and intravenous drug to stop it. So, anyway, I was doing some research and found out that a Canadian company is in phase three clinical trials of a nasal spray drug that can convert SVT at home. If you’re in US or Canada I think they’re still enrolling people. The drug company is calling this a ‘game changer.’ Certainly could be. I think it’s called Entripamil. It’s a calcium channel blocker from what I understand. Google it if you’re interested.

Supraventricular tachycardia. It’s a racing heart that happens out of nowhere

how does svt affect you? I had an extremely fast heartbeat that would make my whole body beat with it!

when I was working serving cocktails, It would just happen and my bartender would ask me why my body was moving when he was serving me? Gave me a small glass of wine and told me to sip it and sit in the lobby to see if it would subside. I started getting it when I was 17 and it lasted till I was over 50 and started menopause. Dr's never could do anything they said because it never happened while I was in their company! I sometimes went to bed with it and awakened in the morning with it. It was a triple heartbeat.and at the time I read in the book "Danger Signals" that there was no known cause or cure but that no one was known to have died from it! That made me feel safe. but while it was happening, it would wear me out! The book was written by a Dr. Alveraz (i think that is the spelling.) When I looked in the mirror, my head would be moving with the heartbeat!

I think it may have had something to do with Hashimoto's Thyroiditis that I wasn't diagnosed with until I was almost 50, and my doctor said I must have had it for a very long time, because I was also diagnosed at

the same time with Hypothyroidism, which doesn't usually start at the same time!
