Nosh and Natter on St Patricks Day

For those of you who have no idea what I am talking about, you could try searching the posts for Nosh and Natter, (top right) and of course St Patricks Day is March 17th, which this year falls on a Saturday.

So what the heck it is? well it's a lunchtime of debauchery and drinking, that is if your debauchery is the most delicious Turkish Salads and your drinking is confined to excellent coffee and fresh orange juice.

It's very simple, a Central London Location Isabella Street Waterloo (just behind Southwark station) is a small Turkish Fresh Food cafe called EV, set amidst a very green and pretty area (Yes even with the railways arches) where I will arrive at around 12:30 and sit and chat to anyone who wishes to come along from our AF community.

We generally get anywhere from 5 to 12 people turn up, and we simply Nosh (eat) and Natter (chinwag) about anything we like. Lovely to meet other sufferers, everyone usually tells their story, and you will get to hear everyone else's story and just enjoy their company.

Partners, significant others, siblings, crumb snatchers or even friends all welcome, very informal and usually we have some fun.

So first call for March 17th, (there will be others) and shall we wear something Green for St Patrick?

Be well

Ian

Might....might not....all depends on whether Relim is going!!!

I already have my train tickets Flapjack - bought them a long time ago when, perhaps like me, they were very cheap.

PS £14.50 each way. Not bad for a total of 584 miles, although the train to Euston is the 6.21.

And I think someone's coming all the way from Wales.

Well it's a long way from Alberta Canada. Guess I will have to decline. Thanks. Anna.

Thanks so much for the invite! If I were able to, I would absolutely love to join you (and being in Hertfordshire my journey would be enviably quick, I know!). But sadly I’m not well enough to be out and about like that :(

V sad to miss meeting you wonderful people. Will be with you in spirit... :)

Regards to all but will be in China then....

If I possibly can, I'll join you. I would love to meet (some of) the people who have helped me through the last 18 months . Unfortunately, I've now been diagnosed with breast cancer, and I'm awaiting the date for surgery, so who knows how I'll be on St. Patrick's Day - which happens to be my 77th birthday!

Love to all, Pat.
