I bought what I thought was going to be magnesium taurate but which turned out to be magnesium oxide. Is it worth getting Taurine to take alongside it?

I may be wrong but I believe the body absorbs magnesium taurate easier. I take magnesium citrate as it is easily absorbed too. I wouldn't personally take extra taurate as well as the dose you are taking without advice as you don't want to overdose. Hope this helps

One is unlikely to overdose on magnesium. Take the taurate at a different time of day (before bedtime is good, as it helps one to relax) and with food.
