When you are in adt treatment(Firmagon,Orgovyx,Lupron etc.)you will get hot flashes many times a day. I have mini fan with rechargeable battery .The battery can use also as power bank.It is always available and with me in bedroom,living room...
It will give you fast relief.

Great advice for people that suffer from this but not all of us do (yet). I sometimes get too hot at night (poor temperature regulation) but its not a flash.
Maybe Orgovyx is better than Firmagon as to hot flashes.Ive had 19 Firmagon injections(last one 13.1.2025) I am changing to Orgovyx in next month...
Don't think it's the meds....It's not side effects of the adt
Its the side effects of having no testosterone.

Yes the fan really help with my hot flashes. More so gets rid of them quickly. Stepping outside on a cold day works. On Orgovyx and Nubeqa.
you could always get a bunch like these and make people nuts when you whip one out and fan furiously - makes people do a double take - adds silly humor to the Pain in the _ _ _ situation you have to deal with

A medical alternative is Veoza. I am on Lupron and abiraterone - the hot flushes creased me, particularly at night. Veoza has proved very effective in mitigating this problem
As a kid I was amused by seeing elderly ladies fanning themselves on days that didn't seem very hot. Now I understand.

4 years had night flushes I have a cool pillow beside me at night place it on my forehead 5 mins helps me probably 3x times each night
You can get a prescription from your PCP for low-dose estradiol patches. That will eliminate your hot flashes, and estradiol is an all-natural hormone that your body normally makes when your Testosterone levels are high enough.
Venlafxine Hydrochloride doesn't work for everyone, but it stopped mine immediately.

Intense exercise squashes my night time hot flashes. I notice if I have 3 days or so in a row where I just barely close my Apple Watch fitness rings, hot flashes start again. If I raise the intensity of my exercise the hot flashes go away.
Ohhhhhh my friend is that is a necessity, I have one by my bed at nite, even when the heat is on I need that. As you go along in your life with any of those meds the flashes do reduce in frequency and intensity though, now we know how women feel when they hit that pause🤣🤣, and this let's you know we are not so different than our opposite counter parts.
