Amazing Fan to Help with Hot Flashes

My neighbor brought this fan over to show me and my wife. It's really amazing, fits comfortably around your neck and cools all around your head. It's really helpful in this summer heat for those of us who get hot flashes. It's rechargeable too. And only $24.

Thanks for the suggestion Ed - I put it on my Amazon list!

What do you do at night - fan by the bed? With remote?

I use a fan by the bed, no remote. It's on almost all the time. In this hot weather, sometimes it seems like I just go from one hot flash to the next.

For me they were not "flashes" but 24/7.

Thanks Ed. I just ordered one for my husband. He's always outside in the heat working and this will be helpful for that too.

Nice. I've seen these look like a winner.

Hey Ed. You have too much mustache hair to be on adt lol.

My chin has it albeit in a different way now days but the mustache part of my goatee is almost non-existent lol.

I've managed to keep a bit of my hair on ADT forever. I did lose my bushy eyebrows, but I think that was from Taxotere chemo. My legs have almost nothing, looks like I shave them, but my arms have quite a bit.

Yep sounds familiar. With high volume disease its water under the bridge and interesting more than anything else. My wife wishes I have my eyebrows and mustache hair. When I started this almost 3 years ago the chemo and adt all hit at once so I have never been sure what caused what. Sure hair loss is famous with adt and my body shows it lol. Still sometimes wondered if the chemo had an effect. Head hair of course came back but its not the same hair prior to chemo/adt.

Anyway again all interesting stuff but not a big deal as long as we can hang out here in life awhile longer.

I was telling my wife that it's like being on a boat that's sinking and you are throwing things overboard that are not absolutely essential to survival in order to keep the boat afloat a little longer.

That's a damn good analogy. I think I'll borrow it lol.

Sometimes, there's a real value to sacrifice. When you have to give things up in order to live, it makes you appreciate life more. That's been my experience. (From the school of cancer).

Got my fan yesterday and it's fantastic. Went shopping at Lowes and Costco today with it on the entire time. Helps so much. I'm relaxing now in a comfortable chair with it on low speed. This fan on low speed is quite adequate for cooling and it runs for hours on that setting. Love it!
