I’m on lupron and xtandi for a little over 6 years , so far. I was given 60 doses of zometa to counteract bone loss. Ordinarily bone density loss is determined by a bone scan. Zoledronic acid can make your bones brittle while replacing bone loss caused by cancer and can cause fractures in your femurs or pelvic bone.

This is definitely something to discuss with your oncologist foremost. Maybe it’s time for a bone scan to see if you have bone loss. If so, it would probably be noticeable by now. Just IMHO and my personal experience, so far.

❤️❤️❤️

Add Boron 10mg. If you have osteoporosis increase to 20mg. Water soluble. May help. Good luck

I like to buy turmeric powder and use it occasionally with other spices such as on chicken. Magnesium might not be necessary if your blood magnesium is normal.

Husband gets an annual DEXA scan to monitor bone health. His MO has him on calcium supplements plus twice a year Prolia shots.

The amount of curcumin varies based on type and whether taken with food. I take 700mg four times daily and always with food. Mine also has bioperrine extract to aid in absorption. Make sure it is third party tested. I take 133 mg magnesium glycinate with lunch and another 266 mg before bed. Magnesium need is based on calcium intake to a point. The more calcium ingested the more magnesium needed. Every 1000mg of calcium requires 500 mg of magnesium. This includes with food and supplements. Start slowly and not before consulting your doctor. God bless.
