Baseline testing advice needed - soon to start Orgovyx + Abiratirone

I see a medical oncologist shortly.

Plan as it's set is 3-4 months of Orgovyx +Zytiga, hoping to shrink my oversize prostae (~71cc). I'll start IMRT in January or February, do (I think) 25 sessions + some for irradiation of the pelvis. Then I'll have brachytherapy, and will stay on the ART for 1 or more years (perhaps dependent upon the outcome of Decipher test ).

T3 0/0 Metastatic to the "pelvic sling," (by less than 10mm) PSMA-pet showed no hot spots on pelvic nodes or elsewhere. I found this ~August, w/ a 54PSA.

Here's what I am seeking advice on:

What baseline testing should I have before starting all this? Dexa for bone density? Baseline Testosterones, or what?

For all you who have walked this path might you share what baseline testing was useful to you and what, perhaps, you had wished you had prior to starting treatment?

Thanks

Baseline T is always helpful. Important to treat entire pelvic lymph node area with your PSA.

Might as well ask for serum Vit D level, calcium, ALP (alkaline phosphotase), lipid panel, red& white blood cell counts, etc. While not definitive for bone metastasis, ALP >100 can indicate a concern. Ilike to have it done because of limitations of the PSMA PET scan.......and a rising number might alert you that a scan should be done. Of course, like PSA, another number to worry about!!

That plan sounds perfect to me, and I wish I had started like that.

Baseline T, E2, PSA and DEXA scan are all important.

All good suggestions ! Good Luck !! Did they give you any sense of 'how much' the prostate might shrink with the Zytiga and Orgovyx ? Is it common knowledge that ADT and hormone therapy shrinks an oversized prostate (over time) ?
