sweet sugar taste after 3rd docetaxel infusion

anyone ever have a really sweet sugary taste after docetaxel.

after the first 2 my taste went back to normal after about 7 days

but the only problem i had was with spicy foods.

after my 3rd round i have a super sweet sugary taste all the time for

16 days now. i have a hard time eating because almost everything tastes

sweet even plain water. just wandering if anyone ever had this problem.

My taste buds and sense of smell are fried after docetaxel. It's not sweet for me, more like salty and cured meats. The smell of cooking and the taste of food makes me nauseous and I can't eat for 3-4 days after the infusion. The effect starts to wear off after about 7 days and I am eating normally again after about 10 days.

I try to eat the blandest and simplest food just for the sake of getting some calories and keeping weight on.

It sucks. I've taken one bite from a meal and thrown it out because I couldn't stomach it.

Either my wife is slowly poisoning me or I'm having an aftertaste from Nubeqa...No appetite and sometimes food nauseates me .
