I had radical prostatectomy about 16 months ago. Radiation followed about 6 months after that. I am on Lupron and abiraterone now for about 9 months. Among other side effects, I have occasional bed wetting. I dont have daytime issues and never experienced any of that even immediately after surgery.
However, on a completely random basis, I will wet the bed while sleeping. I cannot tie it to any particular behavior, other than possibly being more tired than usual. Does anyone have this issue? What can be done to help?

I experience the same and therefore I take TENA pad in the night - just for safety. In 49 out of 50 nights it’s dry in the morning. I guess it has to do with gas in the colon.
Same with me. Sometimes when I fall asleep on the couch I wake to the fun moments. Very sporadic. I do wear a light pad during the day and watch my fluid intake after 4pm.
You’re not alone. Eight years after a radical prostatectomy and radiation I experience the same, perhaps once every two or three months. Sometimes once every six moths. The frequency has lessened over time.
I usually wake at night every couple of hours and if I feel the slightest urgency I get up to pee. (This is not a formula for a good night’s sleep but has helped to minimize any incidents .) I also try to empty my bladder before going to sleep. I’ve found that contributing factors to bed wetting are having consumed to much wine at dinner, taken an antihistamine which can put me into a deeper sleep or an ibuprofen or other drug with anti-inflammatory qualities. So I try to avoid these things. Not perfect solutions but helpful.
A friend who had also had a radical prostatectomy and radiation once advised me, “never walk by a restroom again.” This too has become my general practice.
Thanks a lot for sharing your experience. My frequency is probably at least once per month. I haven't been able to tie it to any behavior, but still looking for the remedy. I too try to limit liquids after dinner and thoroughly empty before bed. I'm almost obsessive about it now and may get up from bed before falling asleep. I usually have to get up once per night to pee. Best of luck to you and thanks again.
Same happened to me. Dreaming I couldn't find a bathroom. I wear a diaper at night, but haven't wet myself since. The diaper is comfy and I'll wear one for a week or more.
I had incontinence problems but I went to a person at OU Medical and they taught me how to do pelvic floor exercises and I now have control over my urine. I can do these exercises what you're just kegels in different manners in different positions for different lengths of time when the need arises.
I don't wet the bed but I'm a light sleeper and wake almost exactly every hour needing to get up for a pee. The frequency doesn't seem to be related to how much (or how late) I've drunk fluids that day although of course, the quantity is greater the more I've drunk. I also frequently have dreams where I'm looking for a bathroom. I'm in the middle of a 6 week course of RT to the prostate and the problem has definitely gotten worse while having this.

Depnds? Will help ..I’ve had nocturnia for 8 yrs . But I don’t wet the bed . I pop up 6 times per night giving interrupted sleep the reins . Many take different drugs . Good luck finding a fix . 🙏✌️
I was waking up frequently to urinate. Sometimes wondered where it was all coming from. Doc has me on 0.4mg tamsulosin daily now. He says it will help the bladder empty completely each time. I have noticed an improvement, waking up only once or twice now.
