Firmagon and PSA

Hello All I just wanted to drop in and share my recent progress towards HDR BT. I took my first Firmagon shot on January 9th and had hot flashes and cold clammy sweats two weeks later. Since then they have increased in frequency but I just step outside and the cold air takes care of them in seconds. I sleep with the temps in the bedroom around 48-53 degrees and take the covers off when I get the flashes. The worst part is the clammy feeling I get that wakes me up 1-2 times a night. Since I’m retired my side affects are more a nuisance than anything else. After about 7 days I started getting erections and I went for it. I was shocked that I was able to finish the job although the climax was not so good for either of us. Since then I’ve had no erections and no desire even though I take cialis 5mg daily and boost with a 20mg when I want to test things. Good news my PSA went from 14.5 to .89 and Testosterone dropped to 7 after first treatment. I am scheduled for radiation treatment the end of April. I read your Post daily and I’m amazed at the strength everyone shows here in their struggles . I hope that today is a good day for all.
