DH had a second Pluvicto treatment scheduled for Friday, February 3 which was postponed because of a shortage of Pluvicto. No idea when it will be available. Any idea what has happened?

A nuclear medicine doctor told me it is is coming from Europe. It seems Novartis is still having some problems in manufacturing Pluvicto in the USA.

Apparently, certain major cancer centers have priority and get access over others.

I am told that Italy is the only source. A facility in NJ tried but failed to meet Novartis’ quality standards last spring.

We are in NJ my dad's treatment got pushed back two months . I didn't know there was a shortage . I'm praying for everyone . I thought it had something to do with our hospital . I had no idea . Where are we at now in terms of meeting demands in NJ?

I was told by the tech at UCSF that it comes from Italy, overnight to NJ and then each hospital gets it's dose from NJ to various locations in the US, again overnight. Each dose costs over $50k with $20k in shipping expenses (radio active material). When the hospital gets it, they again check the radioactivity of the material to make sure that it has not fallen below a certain level during shipping.
