Xofigo

I have mild-moderate bone metastasis. Gleason 9, Brac 2, psa 3 down from 200 14 months ago .On Lynparza and Orgovx.

Just finished radiation for painful L5 met---early discomfort at T11 metastatic site. Hematocrit 30, platelets borderline.

I'm pushing for preemptive Xofigo and getting some pushback from MO and RO. Should I keep on pushing to get ahead of the whack a mole external radiation?

Why do they object to Xofigo?

RO says the PARP that I'm on is a radiosensitizer---any information out there about Xofigo and Lynparaza used together?

Thanks so much for the reference--one link shows double survival with BRAC2 which I have-

now trying to get MO and RO to prescribe ---they may be hesitant because of lack of SOC.

I don't know where you're located, but I listed 3 clinical trials that are still recruiting. I think your best hope of getting the combo is sign up for one of them. Check the locations of each.
