For those who have been following my husband's progress, Docetaxel has not worked for him at all. The NHS pushed for 4 infusions although we were requesting to change to Cabazitaxel after two. PSA rose from 99 pre-chemo to 468 now and LDH from 342 to 1373. ALP modestly increased to 130. Bone scan shows mets more extensive in the pelvis and now pushing onto the femurs. This week MO agreed to change to Cabazitaxel. Keeping fingers crossed that it works.

Very sorry to hear that and sincerely hope the Caba works for your husband. Best wishes.
Cabazitaxel is crossing the blood brain barrier and I will request it myself when the time comes as i have a bone met in my neck just under my skull. Plus I had a grade one neuropathy with docytaxel. Hopefully it will work for you.
Did the Cabazitaxel work? Can you provide an update?
