For me, gratitude allows me to temporally step away from my life's struggles🌹🌹🌹

I'm So Thankful for all of your thoughts
We all need to step away from our struggles for a break... My break was Reel Recovery fly fishing trip with 7 other incurable cancer patients.. Hard to think about your cancer while on a prize trout stream learning to mend your line to get the perfect presentation of a dry fly to the fish in fast water..... If you get a chance to join one of their outings go for it.... Life Is Good, especially on the water with hungry fish....
HU is a wonderful forum for us with PCa and Yes gratitude goes a long way to offset whatever one is going through. I tell my dental patients who inquire how I'm doing, I will say that "I'm grateful to wake up, and not have passed during sleep"After some of the Veterans on HU left due to trolls and ad hominem attacks, I decided to post my weekend trips as a diversion. I call it my "Life's too short to stay home" album for HU members to enjoy vicariously. Have received positive comments.
Fight on

A chance to breakaway from the realities of life, a voice from the darkness, a cheerful comment always wakens you during your lowest time ! I have just been diagnosed with Prostate Cancer last week, a long time member of HU, just another addition to my medical cv! This is new to me PC now to find a new branch of HU, and I know from years of conversation about other conditions this is the place to gain more comfort!👍
Amen brother!!!!!! Meditation and affirming appreciation!!! 🙏
I need to learn to step away more often. Right now my husband is dealing with fatigue, but hopefully we will get a few days away together soon and not think about PC.
