Good news from Urologist

Saw my Urologist yesterday. Had the usual lab work drawn and received the Eligard injection. The Eligard is still doing its job as my PSA is still 0.0 per the phone call this morning. 1 more injection scheduled for November 1st. I will have been on it for 2.5 years and will be taken off it. We had a good discussion on Perineural Invasion. This is when I found out that my MD is keeping UTD on these studies. He told me the U.S. studies show a lower number of spread via the Perineural invasion. Good to know. But I still can’t count myself out of the woods yet.

PNI is only a risk factor on an initial biopsy, not on a path report after surgery.

Thank you Tall_Allen for clarifying that. I don't remember reading that in the research.
