Prednisone switch

Has anyone had more success with dexomethazone rather then prednisone while on Zytiga. My dads psa is slightly increasing by .10 percent - dr switched his prednisone -any one have this happen!?! After Zytiga what would be next?

The switch to Dexa did not work for me. Now on chemo.

Worked for me for a bit. Went from .2 to .1 then took a vacation from meds. Started again ar4.0. 1 yr later still at 2 but on eligard and nubeqa

It had no effect on me but was told by MO at Yale that close to %60 have a positive outcome. For how long, unknown.

When my PSA began to rise I made the switch. Made no difference.

Abiraterone plus prednisone did not change PSA's acceleration for me in 2019. When PSA reached 64.1 I talked my oncologist into switching to dexamethasone. PSA dropped to 26.6 and then started a gradual increase. Five months later it was 56.9 (still lower) when I started on docetaxel.
