olaparin (Lynparza) and low HGB

I've been taking olaparib for about four months and my HGB dropped to 9.5 after having hovered around 10.5 for 3-4 months. The previous blood test at 10.7 then six weeks later at 9.5. I contracted Covid in between. Maybe /maybe not my lower HGB results could have been a result of the virus. New blood test may suggest answer.

Nonetheless, looking to hear about 1) strategies for improving blood count numbers that are being utilized out there and 2) low HGB threshold to do something(my onc says 10.0 is threshold).

The only two that I am aware of is reducing the olaparib dosage or using Aranesp (darbepoetin alfa).

What approaches have you guys seen and results?

Thanks

Gary

Update. New blood test today. My HGB increased to 10.1, yea.

That is with reduced olaparib two weeks ago and over covid 3 weeks ago.

No clinical trials on that, I bet.

Anyway, happy to see that increase, as options are not pretty.
