Anyone added Xtandi while on Taxotere?

I am wondering if anyone has added Xtandi while undergoing chemo (taxotere)?

I am doing a re-challenge (3 rounds done) with PSA holding - not going up or down.

I understand Xtandi after chemo is a good option - but what about "during" to hit things hard.

You could, it delays PFS but it does not prolong OS.

Yes, that is the route I would prefer. My MO is one of those doctors who likes to squeeze the last drop out of a treatment before moving on.

I might have to put my foot down. If you are doing chemo and all its horrors, why not use a drug that is more effective? (rhetorical question).

I was using Xtandi back when I had chemo per CHAARTED about 7 years ago but it was not a rechallenge. Still using it.

Added Xtandi after #5 infusion and did total of 9. Ended up with sever PN in hands and feet. Xtandi continued at full dose after #9 until I was a complete invalid.. It pounded me into the ground, but my cancer went into remission for over 3 yrs before new mets showed up on Na-F18 scans. Radiation therapy on these 2 and PSA has been dropping since. .Still on Xtandi 1/2 dose.. Over 4 years now and doing well other than PN.
