I wonder if anyone has tried the combo Niclosamide plus Abiraterone+Prednisone outside the Clinical Trial: cancer.gov/about-cancer/tre...
I do not qualify for the clinical trial referenced above due to my previous use of Abiraterone (which has failed.) I doubt my MO will approve the "off label" use of Niclosamide so I am searching for evidence of effectiveness to bolster my case.
Did this combo work for you? Is there data anywhere on the success rate of the combo or predictive biomarkers for success?
With appreciation,

Niclosamide is not absorbed enough to reach levels in blood that could do anything to the cancer. The clinical trials at UCI use a modified niclosamide which has a better absorption. Regular niclosamide does not work.
Docetaxel and mebendazole target distinct aspects of the microtubule dynamics, leading to increased apoptosis and reduced tumour growth. Our data support a new concept of combined mebendazole/docetaxel treatment that warrants further clinical evaluation."
