Just a quick update that I've been having more frequent migraines this summer, including one that started last Friday and is still going today. I've never had a headache last this long. My oncologist scheduled a brain MRI for this afternoon, so hopefully will have some answers by tonight.
Until then, it's scanxiety like I've never felt before.
Update at 8pm EDT: clear scan! No tumors, no problems caused by immunotherapy. Hoping headaches will ease without being compounded by my worst fears.

I had anxiety and depression issues before cancer. Normally I'm pretty good at managing them, but this time I went into a very dark place. Now it's a sunny beautiful day today
Have you been eating lots of Chinese food lately? Or dark chocolates? Hard cheese? Any processed food or with lots of preservatives? Even skipping meals sometimes trigger my migraine. Take care.
I've been eating lots of Chinese food and have dark chocolate as a treat most nights. It usually format cause a problem, but with all my body had been through the rules may have changed. Thanks for pointing out that diet may be contributing. My sister also hinted at hydration. I'm also adding meditation to the list of things to try to get things under control.
I hate to say congratulations on your migraine, but if it isn't cancer-related it seems like great news. Good luck! There are so many of us here on HU pulling for you. - Joe M.
Thanks for the tip. My oncologist deferred to my GP for further headache treatments. Trying a triptan is plan B. Plan A is to taper off the opioids, eat healthy, get sleep, etc. Ibuprofen + Acetaminophen seem to work well enough at the moment.
