Sudden Hair Thinning. Could Firmagon be the Culprit?

Hair suddenly thinning. 2nd monthly Firmagon shot 2 weeks ago. Should I take Propecia?

It should do the opposite. It is a much more powerful drug than propecia for stopping androgen production.

Not uncommon side effect of ADT is hair loss, usually body hair, but it could effect the hair on your head

I know you elected to have the pelvic radiation therapy. I had 42 of them and the hair in my crown fell out. When I washed my hair it was on the drain in the shower! Four years later I had thirty more radiations and more hair came out. It has been 6 1/2 years since then and I would take my finger tips (not my nails) and make little circles in my scalp when watching TV. All of my hair has grown back except the front line over my forehead I have widow's peaks. I am 74 years old now. Getting blood to the scalp is like watering your grass to make it grow. Keep asking questions and just keep truckin'.

Long term use of Propecia has been found to cause cancer. It also masks your PSA count- artificially lowering it-so you don’t get a true reading. I personally would advise agains it.
