He does not feel good most of the time so yes it is consuming our life. Not complaint just wish he felt better. (He is not a positive person) so it make me down too.

Kobina, These comments of mine might sound negative but here are a few things that struck me as a non-physician.
1. Send the biopsy samples to Jonathan Epstein, MD, Ph.D. at John's Hopkins for a second opinion.. The Gleason 7 needs his confirmation.
2. Your history sounds problematic. I don't know what practical effects the second opinion will have if you stop there, but I wouldn't. Seek out a medical oncologist from Dr. Epstein's colleagues that he recommends and get his/her confirmation of what is going on. I think these are important steps to take quickly. Phone: (410) 955-5043 in Maryland.
I recently counseled a man who contacted me because of a support group I facilitate. He was told he was a 7 by a west Phoenix, AZ pathologist. I had no special reason to doubt the professional judgment of the pathologist beyond the reputation of the practice he chose to affiliate with (I had spent many years in Phoenix in the health care sector), but as it turned out the patient did seek Dr. Epstein's second opinion and learned he was a Gleason 8 primarily. That can have practical treatment effects.
Greetings Kobina, would you please be kind enough to give us more info in a future post and NOT to me. age? location? treatment center? doctor's name(s)? All info voluntary. This info helps us help your husband and it help us too. Thank you.
