Pelvic lymph nodes only? Is there a reason why he can't have whole pelvic radiation with a boost to his prostate and 2-3 years of hormone therapy?
They said no surgery since it spread from prostate to lymph nodes .and no radiation because his prostate is enlarged and it will cause complications. My father is also 83 so that might be a factor
It is possible to shrink the prostate with several months of hormone therapy before he gets brachytherapy. His age is not a factor. Where is he located? Who has he consulted with so far.
