Excellent counterpoint article. I did not give the original Jersusalem article much credence - it sounded way too optimistic especially when based on so little in vivo data. On the other hand the argument that hitting multiple targets to suppress cancer as is done with HIV treatment makes sense. Phil
After 26 years out from original diagnosis, I have seen SO MANY Headlines about a cure, or the cure. It takes years even when a good idea happens. And there are many flubs and harms even with good treatments. That's why I chose to focus my Advocacy on natural strategies (as complementary or stand alone), lifestyle changes (needed by/for all of us) and holistic treatments (because after or sometimes conventional isn't good enough). I founded all-volunteer Annie Appleseed Project to give free evidence-based information. We still need this even now all these years later.
With a grain of salt:

In Latin the word for salt is the same as the word for wisdom, meaning that the current issue to be viewed through a lens of your life experience. Pliny the Elder recommended that a grain of salt was to be used as an antidote for poison.
Good Luck, Good Health and Good Humor.
