Discuss to Know What Is Happening
——————
The morning I got the first Lupron implant, depot injection ... the doctor warned me that it’d make me tired ... nothing more? (so all the other side-effects were just in my mind?). One day later and from then on, I knew my life was destroyed, and all the crying didn’t help one bit.
After bending over to get the injection in my ass, and pulling up my pants, the nurse handed me the insert, information sheet that came along with the Lupron Kit. And she said for me to read it ... first page headline title on the sheet:
“Lupron and Sex Offenders.” Then more: “As a registered sex offender, the court in which your case was reviewed indicated that you can only be released into the community while being compliant to regular Lupron Depot injections.”
What?
(I knew absolutely nothing about ADT, let alone Lupron.)
What in the hell ... ???
As I was turning to page three ready to pass out ... “Oops,” the nurse says, “Gave you the wrong information sheet.” And was handed the one, “Lupton and Prostate Cancer.” Plus a coupon for calcium and Vitamin D and K. Didn't even know what that was necessary for?
From then on, every three months: Lupron (had prostatectomy, lymph nodes removed, etc.) And the subsequent Lupron side-effects have become progressively severe in years 5, 6, and 7 on Lupron. And I keep asking: “Can it get much worse?” Stupid question.
Thank God that I’m hooked-up with Pain Management ... the narcotics prescriptions not only help to eliminate ... to stopping the pain, but being a drug (opioids), my mind and emotions are in control to some degree (at least for a few hours each day).

Smile!
At least I’m still alive!
Yea, with 2 lesions in bones, 3 on the liver, and 1 on adrenal gland ... devastating fatigue, excruciating bone pain, depressed as hell, and my whole body out of wack from it all ... lead the way by the Lupron. Smile, at least I’m still alive ... well, so is the mold on the bread in my kitchen.
