Stage 4, DX October 2015. Eligard for a year now and finished radiation in early August, just before heading off to France to begin Camino Santiago pilgrimage on 28 August.
My son and I finished the 805 km or 500 mile trip on Monday 1 Oct at 10:27. Made it the whole way. Met lots of really interesting folks. A great way to loose weight and see a lot of rural Spain on a budget.
In addition, I raised almost $12,500 AUD, nearly 5 times my original goal of $2,500 AUD. Lots of lessons learned. Am now tootling around Spain until end of October when I return to Melbourne.
I’ve been offline for 6 weeks and am feeling no after effects from radiation or ADT. At last test, PSA was down to 0.09. Next test in November.
Cheers.

We did the yuppie Camino for last 120k and with back up supports thru Fresco Tours and had a meaningful, enjoyable, healthy trip of a lifetime. We did it 2 yrs after my husbands dx with bone Mets. Two plus years later, we are still here.
I attended a Spanish guitar concert in Carrión de los Condes by Michael Partington at Iglesia de Santa Maria Del Camino. It was very moving. I’m sure the peregrinos would have really appreciated your concert.
