Still kicking

Hello folks. My robotic surgery was a year ago may 31st. I had gleason 4+3, with tertiary Gleason 5 in my right side lymph nodes and seminal vesicle. 6 weeks after surgery PSA was 16.9. 7 weeks of radiation with zytiga, lupron and prednisone during and since. My PSA is undetectable with good blood work. Im fighting side effects, especially at work. But im alive, and I'll take it! Im turning 61 in August.

Hi Ronbo12,

Good to know you are doing well. How have you handled "incontinent" issues ? Or were you not incontinent at all ? Did you have any issues with the catheter ? Thanks in advance for any reply you may care to give. Cheers !!

I have no continence issues when awake, finally. It took about 9 months. When my. Lupron shot is in the end of the third month, i only need to get up once in the night. After a new shot, about every hour and a half, with an occasional night i am glad for the depends, but those are getting more rare and less severe too after a year. As for the catheter.... Not Pleasant coming out.
