zitiga holiday
I only started in February. But I am also suffering from a great feeling of fatigue. I am looking forward to seeing how you feel after a break from the Zitiga. I am afraid it might be mostly the lupron and even stopping the Zitiga won't provide much help. Please let us know how it goes. Good luck.

Hi Milto, i was on full dose of Xtandi which was debilitating so stopped for a week then reduced dose from 4 to 3 pills. That week off i didnt feel to much different and the 3 pills still were tearing me up. After a month of that my onc lowered dose to 2 pills. Still have fatigue but its tolerable. Maybe ask your onc to consider lowering the dose of Zytiga. So far its still working on my psa.
I'm on Zytiga,Prednisone, and Eligard which is a six month shot of Lupron only side effects are hot flashes which are tolerable and ED that my friend Mr.Viagra helps with. Fight the fatigue with all you got get up exercise even a brisk walk just don't give in to it. Leo
Hi Milto
I have been on the same regimen as you since about Sept '17. My PSA is less than 1 but goes up a small bit every month. I will start radiation on Monday for hip pain. I have mets to both hip and spine. I have fatigue from time to time, but being retired I can take an afternoon nap and usually wake up refreshed. Having cancer causes fatigue, it seems the experts have a variety of reasons: depression, stress, the work of the body fighting off the cancer. You might go to your PCP to make sure there is not some other reason for your fatigue.
Also, don't kill yourself-if you have crushing fatigue cut back on your exercise routine and see what happens. Some keep exercising away even when they're fighting cancer and then are surprised they are tired. Also, I have kind of noticed a difference between fatigue and weakness. Sometimes I take a good nap, but other times even though I feel tired, I lay down but don't sleep. I think it's weakness, or just needing to take a break.
On the lupron-I switched to every 6 months as the shot hurts like heck for a week and I noticed increased fatigue right after the shot. I am told there is no difference in outcomes on 1 month, 3 month, or six month.
Keep fighting
I was on zytiga + Pred and Lupron for 9 months. PSA undetectable so MO took me off Zytiga and Lupron and slowly tapered off Pred. Got a 2 and a half holiday before starting back on ADT.
