interfering with drugs. Before I got a hold of Xtandi I used Casodex 50 mg monotherapy...worked really well...kept PSA at <.1. Instead of all the pills I tried powders....Food Science of Vermont Purple Power, Red Power, Yellow Power, Green Power. In one month PSA went from <.1 to .4....stopped the supplement and in one month PSA <.1....went back on supplements PSA .4..so either LabCorp is full of sh*t or I wasted 4 good canisters of powder

Dr. Myers Was Right About Supplements
My primary used Labcorp said my psa was 110. One week later the onc took psa at said it was 223, which was the same as the previous month. Who is correct?
Gus,
What did these various "Power" supplements contain do you suppose that would affect PSA levels? Further, are you suggesting, echoing Dr. Myers, that ALL supplements are bad because of a single product line from one company?
If the product mixtures were complex, then that opens the door to the dimethylglycine FoodScience of Vermont puts in their products being altered, thus mutagenicity of this chemical agent becomes a possibility. We all take risks by ingesting many various chemicals in supplements.
Gus you were right in abandoning this supplement line given your fluctuating PSAs, but I would hesitate to condemn ALL "supplements" as I would hesitate to condemn ALL "doctors" because of some poor (downright scary) practitioners who are out there - I met some in my years of hospital management.
