Had my first Xofigo injection May 23. Only noticeable side effect so far increase in fatigue and decreased appetite. Taking several naps a day. Very little energy. Lost 5 pounds since injection. Hydromorphone 2mg every 4 hours controlling cancer pain to a level 2-3. Hydromorphone causing severe stomach pain, level 7-8. Oncologist prescribed Prochlorperazine 5 mg, 1 as needed not to exceed 3/day. This is controlling stomach pain well. Relief within about 30 mins of taking, generally lasting for several hours. Anyone know can I expect about the same side effects for remaining 5 injections of Xofigo? I am told it could take 2 weeks to 2 months for the Xofigo to relieve the Cancer pain. Any experience with this?
