Last year I was diagnosed with ADHD and it has been such a blessing bc I know now why I behave the way I do but it's been hard too bc my husband doesn't really understand but thinks of my condition as an "excuse". So I think it's time to surround myself with people of like mind (literally). I believe it will help me to be better. So any ADHD groups in Philly PA that I can join and be around folks like myself? I checked the CHADD Affiliate Locator. It looks like there's a group in Philly. There might also be other ones nearby, but you will have to check for yourself.

Aside from that, you can also try checking sites like Meetup.com, Craigslist, Facebook groups, or just a Google search for "ADHD groups in Philadelphia" or "ADHD groups near me".

Since you're here, feel free to read others' posts. The search works pretty well, if you are looking for specific topics. Or, of course, feel free to ask questions and share your input and observations.

By the way, when you are creating a post, there is a drop-down box marked "Share". If you leave it set to the default of "Everyone", the post is public (and can show up in a Google search by anyone...it's that public). If your select "Community-only" it's not searchable outside of this from.
