Atomoxetine (Strattera) shortage

My pharmacy here in New Zealand has no supply for the last several weeks. Do we have any idea if there is an issue with supply?

Any supply issues elsewhere?

It can be expensive, but may be an option to have on hand as a stop gap between prescription refills.

Have you tried going to other pharmacies. I recall one month I went to 31 pharmacies before I found a half month supply of my prescription Adderall. But that is in a populated area in the U.S.

I've seen atomoxetine mentioned as hard to get in the U.S. but since I started back on it last summer, haven't had any issues.

Qelbree is a similar drug to atomoxetine. Don't know how pricing and what not works where you are at, but may be able to try it if not also in shortage.

Supply resumed after a couple of weeks. Seems to have been a blip.

We typically get a 3 month supply of meds except occasional meds like atomoxitine which seem to be less available generally

Sorry to share from a country with a national heath system. No cost for most medications.
