Atomoxetine

I suppose this time Guanfacine… I am worried that Guanfacine also will give some adverse reactions and then what next… It’s scary because Atomoxetine really works fine for him. Has anyone had a positive story with lowering pulse when reducing daily dose of Atomoxetine?

I'm currently on atomoxetine 40mg and they're making me feel really dizzy and sick in the morning and it last about 90 minutes I told my psychiatrist and it didn't give any suggestions except to make sure I eat which I always do but now he's increased the dose to 60mg and I'm worried they make me feel

Have anyone else been told to monitor child’s pulse on Atomoxetine ? For me the frustration is that it’s our 3rd doctor now and none of the doctors told me that increase in heart rate is a risk both with stimulants and with Atomoxetine too.

I really would be devastated to have to stop Atomoxetine because of his pulse being slightly too high😩

Hi My Psych had prescribed Atomoxetine 10 mg. Initially, it worked well, will my energy levels & clarity of thought sustained throughout most of the day. Was also prescribed Nuhenz too along with it. I had to discontinue the medication, given my lack of motivation to refill the prescription.

He is currently on 18 mg Atomoxetine. This is the max we can give him before he is not eating anymore. Did anyone here have success with a night time dose of Guafacine or Atomoxetine?

is there any way to make my medication work better because i noticed that it fluctuates i have good days means my attentiveness is high and my impulsivity is subdued and i have bad days is there anything that causes this i take atomoxetine thanks

Hi, My son experiences tachycardia on Atomoxetine. We lowered the dose and his pulse has not gone down much. I believe it is a train on his heart and I don’t think this is good for him long term.

My psychiatrist prescribed me Strattera (Atomoxetine). I have heart arryhtmia and learned that it is not recommended to use Straterra if you have heart arryhtmia. Also I learned that sudden deaths and stroke have been reported in adults taking atomoxetine at usual doses for ADHD.

Hello Everyone, my son aged 14 years diagnosed with ADHD and taking this medicine 36 mgs at night at present, earlier he was on 18 mgs , his behaviour improved a little but he is still different from other kids, his activities slowed down a bit but attention is not there to do things like other kids

We had to stop Atomoxetine because my son has developed adverse reaction- severe tachycardia. Reducing the dose didn’t make the difference in pulse. Only once we stopped completely now his pulse is back to normal ranges for his age.

I want to try to move to Modafinil with atomoxetine. I'll spare you the explanation why. But don't want to try to take high doses of those to make up for the Adderall Crash.

My doctor suggested atomoxetine which of course did not worked and had terrible side effects. Maybe i am allergic to some filler? Well I don't think so personally, maybe lactose ? Maybe gut issues ?

I start to take Atomoxetine that gives me vomit feelings,stomachaches. I feel my brain is little calmer and stopped blame myself,but not so dramatically change. I have been taking for a month so far. It can be better later? It seems the pill takes long time to start affect.

Hello, I am on 80 mg Straterra generic (Atomoxetine), been taking this for 1.5 months now. Titrated up to 80 mg bit by bit for the past few months. One thing I notice now with the 80 mg is that my hearing seems VERY alert. It's almost as if my ears were closed off and opened up all of a sudden.
