Hello Everyone!

My name is Justin Ellis, and I am a 5th-year PhD student studying Clinical Psychology at Fielding Graduate University. I am collecting data for my dissertation study on factors that predict stigma and life satisfaction in adults with ADHD. If you are 18 or older, have no physical or medical disability, have no brain injury, or no developmental disorder, and have a confirmed diagnosis of ADHD by a licensed professional, you are eligible!

You can click the link below that states Qualtrics Survey: Qualtrics Experience Management.

I would greatly appreciate it if you shared the following survey with friends, family, colleagues, etc. The survey takes approximately 10 to 15 minutes to complete. Participation is completely voluntary. At the end of the survey, you have the option to be included in a raffle, which will include a $25 gift card.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at the below contact information.

I apologize, that should say "no learning disorder. "

ADHD affects concentration and focus, and attention. So, most people with ADHD will have some difficulty learning on some level. Dyslexia, dyspraxia. It's the 'spectrum', some can some can't, some write books but can't spell, some are great at the hard things in life but struggle witht he simple things.

Some advice...Get a new survey. This isn't representative at all of the ADHD life nor of anyone I would ever want to be my caretaker if this was their dissertation. I'm sorry about being harsh, but you should take a hard look at your questions and go over them with your professor. Your survey questions are trying to come to a conclusion without any objectivity. Every question asks the same thing.

My advice to you is to think this through and pull the survey. It has NOTHING to do with ADHD

Sorry to seem rude, but I found the survey insulting. As AuDHD3245 stated, ADHD is a developmental disorder and it's clear you didn't know that from the beginning.

Furthermore on this survey. What you have effectively done is force those with ADHD to see themselves and your diagnosis in a very negative light. I encourage you to change your PhD focus to something where you have no predetermined stereotype built up in your mind.

FYI. I spoke with the Dean of Clinical Psychology at Fielding Graduate University. After some investigative work, she assured me that this is NOT an approved survey and no survey of theirs would be like this.
