starting Lexapro per my psychs recommendation to see if it helps with stabilizing my mood. I already take vyvanse 30mg for my adhd and we were gonna up it but decided to try adding the Lexapro first to see how I do.
She recommended I take the Lexapro before bed . Any insight or experience is appreciated.

Close... I was not on Vyvanse, I was prescribed Adderall XR.

When I was first diagnosed with ADHD, I was also diagnosed with anxiety.
My doctor started me on just Lexapro for the first month on medication, then added the Adderall XR. Both together did help me a lot.
I was only on Lexapro for 4 months then. I was on Adderall for about 6 months at different dosages (so I was on both together for 3 months).

Adderall wasn't the best medication for me, and so I got switched to Strattera. For the last 2½ years.
I developed depression last fall, and my new doctor prescribed me Lexapro again. It has been helping me get through my post-divorce struggles, and I'm starting to wean myself off them now because I don't feel like I need them anymore. (My doctor and I had planned this weaning off strategy a few months ago. He said to start when I was ready.)
Lexapro without a prescription - onlinecheappills.com Also, depression and anxiety with some panic attacks. Works well, but will be habit-forming. Make slow withdrawal, especially if on for a long time.
I was weaning off Lexapro at the time I posted that, almost a year ago.
It was easier to go off it the second time, because I knew from having been on it before that there would be a withdrawal.
(It felt different the second time, and I had a bit of a rebound depression. It was mild. However, it didn't help that the days were getting shorter. ~ I think I experience mild Seasonal Affective Disorder every year, like my mom does. I should get outdoors more in the daytime in the fall and winter, and get myself a "happy" light.)
I asked my doctor to try me on Wellbutrin, instead of Strattera, to treat my ADHD. I think it helps me with mood, as well as with my ADHD symptoms. My mood doesn't seem to get so low. I've only been on it 5 weeks, so it remains to be seen if it's really better than Strattera was for me...but it's about the same, at least.
my partner has been on vyvanse for years now. He actually had the gene sight test to say that this med would have the least side effects for his biology. Before the test, he tried some of the other meds, but they made him aggressive. We haven’t tried lexapro.
I was first prescribed Lexapro 2 years prior to starting taking Atomoxetine for adhd. At some point I was taking both meds, it personally didn't work for me because Lexapro was making me more forgetful than I already was. So I started relying more on meditation and therapy. So far I noticed adhd meds work better without Lexapro at least for me. But then meds work different for everyone.
My son took vyvanse and psych wanted to put him on lexapro. He said he could not function on lexapro so we stopped it.
Get a psych who knows how to titrate vyvanse to find best dosage and someone who can help you manage adhd weaknesses. Meds are not enough but finding a good therapist to help with executive functioning is also needed. Sleep and exercise are also important. And someone to talk to and give you strategies to handle weaknesses is necessary.
