hey would anyone be okay with me starting a support group on Facebook messenger for all of us to chat about our current problems. I know it could help alot of us to have a group of people who understand where we are coming from! If so private message me your name and I’ll add you to the group. (:

IMO I think an actual fb group would be great. Messenger can be wonky at times or difficult to figured what’s been said, how far you need to scroll back and read. I love fb groups, they are so helpful. Just like this group but I feel maybe little more user friendly
You have a point. A private FB group would probably be best. Content would only be shared within the group.
FB Messenger has a limit of 50 people in a single chat. Messenger seems more conversational, but as pointed out, it's got some definite limitations that a full FB doesn't.

I just joined the ADHD reWired Community Facebook group. It's a well-established private FB group.
* (Information about joining us available on the ADHD reWired website, and there's a vetting process before you can be invited into the group.)
I'm also in the ADHD Essentials Community Facebook group. (It is not hidden, so it's easier to find and request to join.)
... That being said, I spend way more time on this forum than all my time on Facebook. I'm also part of a couple of ADHD groups on Discord, and I still spend more time here, because of the community interaction and the design of the site (I'm just not a big fan of the look of Discord's interface).
Just curious: what do you feel is missing from this format on HealthUnlocked?
This format reminds me of a very old-fashioned support group for Nutrisystem I Belonged to 20 years ago. It was high-tech back then!🙂 It's hard to find continuity in a thread or with a person here. There's no feeling of conversation, where you're connecting back and forth in real time - responses are created in a vacuum. And finding a question or responses is hit or miss depending on what the email they send highlights for me. It's WAY better than not having anything, but today's tech could definitely improve the experience. Thanks for asking!
