It's the one thing I like about my neurodivergence! I have ordinal-linguistic personification (my brain gives personalities to numbers, letters, and months of the year). I've wondered if it was a form of synesthesia for a long time now, but I only just found out the official term. In reading historical accounts from people who have the same form, it's funny to me that we all see 9 as untrustworthy and devious.

Anyone else have synesthesia?
You got me thinking.I'd never heard of that type of synesthesia before, so I wondered what other types there are. So I did a search.
One is called "mirror-touch". It's when you see someone touched a part of their body, and you can feel it. I experience that (not like I feel an actual touch, but like the lingering sensation as if I had just been touched).
I thought it was a trait of my empathy, and maybe it's just that. It's automatic, but I can block the sensation by focusing on something else.
Here's an interesting article about synesthesia. It's where I learned about the mirror-touch type. It talks about a few types, but mentions that about 60 types of synesthesia have been identified. Wow! (With so many types, I'm sure it's much more common than I'd originally thought. I previously believed that it was rare, and took much fewer forms.)
Oh my god! 9 *is* untrustworthy and devious!!
So yeah, I guess I have a touch of the ole synesthesia too. I gave relationships and personality types to all numbers up to 13 for some reason. It hasn't really impacted my life at all, but I find it funny that it's a thing, and not some unique idea I had when I was a kid.
