Good psychiatrists/psychologists?

Basically new here since I made an account and never posted, but I guess this serves as my introduction AND first question.

I'll be 21 in August and have ADHD, and I don't know what it feels like to be lazy, or if I have some milder form of depression, I can't tell.

What I really need help with is finding a good psychologist/psychiatrist, whichever can diagnose and prescribe medication.

Location doesn't mater, so long as they're still taking clients and can do Zoom sessions when necessary.

Thank you for your time!

I was lucky - My wife was bothered by my ADD & worked with a guy on meds, so when I was ready to listen I had a referral. If you're in USA I would start with CHAAD.org. Their map has big empty spots though so hopefully you're not in middle of US

Well, as luck would have it, I am exactly in Missouri! That's pretty mid, I think? Thanks for the recommendation though!

a psychiatrist, a MD, or NP, or PA can all prescribe meds, but are not trained in talk therapy. they can diagnose you too.

a social worker, counselor, or psychologist can diagnose you and do talk therapy but not prescribe meds.

thats very important to know!
